# Countdown@ vs ERIS Mobile

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ERIS Mobile at 100% against Countdown@'s 37%. ERIS Mobile also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). Countdown@'s advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown@ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. ERIS Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

Countdown@ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown@ has 40K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Countdown@'s written reviews are positive against 100% of ERIS Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Countdown@ ships an update every 5 days, ERIS Mobile every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
