# Countdown@ vs Today

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Today at none against Countdown@'s 1. Today also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (67% vs 37%). Countdown@'s advantage is ratings volume (40K vs 2) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown@ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Today asks for nothing beyond the download.

Countdown@ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown@ has 40K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Countdown@'s written reviews are positive against 67% of Today's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
