# Countdown@ vs Z5 Count

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Z5 Count at none against Countdown@'s 1. Z5 Count also leads on ads (none vs shown). Countdown@'s advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (40K vs 8). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown@ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Z5 Count asks for nothing beyond the download.

Countdown@ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown@ has 40K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.
