# Countdown@ vs Almost

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Countdown@ at 40K against Almost's 2. Countdown@ also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Almost's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown@ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Almost sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Almost holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown@ has 40K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Countdown@ ships an update every 5 days, Almost every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
