# WEXT vs Kendu English

The clearest difference is update cadence: Kendu English at every 2 weeks against WEXT's every 5 weeks. WEXT's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WEXT sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.49 per month and Kendu English sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WEXT ships an update every 5 weeks, Kendu English every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
