# BarterUnit vs Time Merits

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BarterUnit at 85% against Time Merits's 0%. BarterUnit also leads on ratings volume (19 vs 1). Time Merits's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Time Merits holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BarterUnit has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of BarterUnit's written reviews are positive against 0% of Time Merits's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BarterUnit ships an update every 2 months, Time Merits monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
