# Stigen vs Super Multi Maps

The clearest difference is update cadence: Super Multi Maps at monthly against Stigen's every 5 months. Stigen's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stigen sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Super Multi Maps sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stigen ships an update every 5 months, Super Multi Maps monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
