# My FileManager vs Offline

The clearest difference is monetization model: Offline at free with in-app purchases against My FileManager's paid. Offline also leads on ratings volume (138K vs 17K). My FileManager's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 49%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My FileManager sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Offline sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for My FileManager against 4.6 for Offline. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Offline has 138K ratings behind it against 17K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 61% of My FileManager's written reviews are positive against 49% of Offline's.

My FileManager ships an update fortnightly, Offline every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
