# My FileManager vs Browser Lite

The clearest difference is rating: My FileManager at 4.6 against Browser Lite's 3.7. My FileManager also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Browser Lite's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My FileManager sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Browser Lite sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My FileManager holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My FileManager has 17K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

My FileManager ships an update fortnightly, Browser Lite monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
