# Weimar+ vs Bauhaus Dessau

Weimar+ and Bauhaus Dessau both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 74% of Bauhaus Dessau's written reviews are positive against 42% of Weimar+'s. Weimar+'s advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (92 vs 10). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Weimar+ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weimar+ has 92 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Weimar+'s written reviews are positive against 74% of Bauhaus Dessau's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Weimar+ ships an update fortnightly, Bauhaus Dessau every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
