# Camera Connect & Control vs Alpha Linker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Camera Connect & Control at 47% against Alpha Linker's 16%. Alpha Linker's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (3.8K vs 725). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Camera Connect & Control sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Alpha Linker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alpha Linker holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alpha Linker has 3.8K ratings behind it against 725, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Camera Connect & Control's written reviews are positive against 16% of Alpha Linker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Camera Connect & Control ships an update monthly, Alpha Linker every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
