# Commit2 vs NXT 1

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Commit2 at none against NXT 1's 12. Commit2 also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). NXT 1's advantage is ratings volume (183 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NXT 1 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Commit2 asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Commit2 against 5.0 for NXT 1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NXT 1 has 183 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Commit2 ships an update every 2 weeks, NXT 1 weekly. The most recent releases landed on July 5, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
