# Gliss vs Dubnote

The clearest difference is rating: Dubnote at 4.5 against Gliss's 3.0. Dubnote also leads on ratings volume (164 vs 4). Gliss's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.3). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dubnote sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Gliss asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dubnote holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dubnote has 164 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Gliss's written reviews are positive against 65% of Dubnote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
