# Cowork Tahoe vs WeWork

The clearest difference is monetization model: Cowork Tahoe at free against WeWork's free with in-app purchases. Cowork Tahoe also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). WeWork's advantage is ratings volume (7.4K vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cowork Tahoe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeWork has 7.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cowork Tahoe ships an update every 6 weeks, WeWork every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
