# Noah vs Couchloop Chat

The clearest difference is rating: Noah at 4.7 against Couchloop Chat's 4.0. Noah also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 4) and update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly). Couchloop Chat's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 61%) and in-app purchases (none vs 13). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Noah sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Couchloop Chat asks for nothing beyond the download.

Noah holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noah has 1.9K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Noah's written reviews are positive against 100% of Couchloop Chat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Noah ships an update every 6 days, Couchloop Chat monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
