# Simple Notes vs Dailywise

The clearest difference is ads: Dailywise at none against Simple Notes's shown. Dailywise also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Simple Notes's advantage is ratings volume (790 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Dailywise sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dailywise holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simple Notes has 790 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Simple Notes ships an update every 3 months, Dailywise every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
