# Lumary vs Raingel

The clearest difference is rating: Lumary at 4.4 against Raingel's 2.4. Lumary also leads on ratings volume (4.5K vs 25) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). Raingel's advantage is review sentiment (36% vs 28%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lumary holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lumary has 4.5K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Lumary's written reviews are positive against 36% of Raingel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lumary ships an update monthly, Raingel every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
