# 万宗八字 vs 元象八字

The clearest difference is monetization model: 万宗八字 at free with in-app purchases against 元象八字's subscription. 万宗八字 also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and review sentiment (96% vs 75%). 元象八字's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 万宗八字 sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and 元象八字 sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

万宗八字 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 万宗八字 has 44 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 96% of 万宗八字's written reviews are positive against 75% of 元象八字's.

万宗八字 ships an update every 3 weeks, 元象八字 every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
