# SmartCtrl vs YimturmCam

The clearest difference is rating: SmartCtrl at 2.3 against YimturmCam's 1.8. YimturmCam's advantage is review sentiment (12% vs 0%) and ratings volume (21 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SmartCtrl holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YimturmCam has 21 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of SmartCtrl's written reviews are positive against 12% of YimturmCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SmartCtrl ships an update monthly, YimturmCam fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 12, 2026.
