# Electrify America vs bp pulse

Electrify America and bp pulse both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 65% of bp pulse's written reviews are positive against 9% of Electrify America's. bp pulse also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Electrify America's advantage is ratings volume (27K vs 537) and chart position (#41 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Electrify America holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Electrify America has 27K ratings behind it against 537, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 9% of Electrify America's written reviews are positive against 65% of bp pulse's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Electrify America ships an update monthly, bp pulse every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
