# Melon VPN vs RYN VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Melon VPN at 76% against RYN VPN's 33%. Melon VPN also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Melon VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and RYN VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
