# andu vs silachat

The clearest difference is rating: andu at 4.2 against silachat's 3.2. andu also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (235 vs 28). silachat's advantage is review sentiment (41% vs 11%) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. andu sells 17 one-off in-app purchases and silachat sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

andu holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: andu has 235 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of andu's written reviews are positive against 41% of silachat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

andu ships an update every 6 weeks, silachat every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
