# Wojo vs HyNote

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Wojo at none against HyNote's 10. Wojo also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). HyNote's advantage is review sentiment (77% vs 50%) and ratings volume (7.7K vs 6). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HyNote sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Wojo asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wojo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HyNote has 7.7K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Wojo's written reviews are positive against 77% of HyNote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wojo ships an update every 5 weeks, HyNote weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
