# Wallpapers vs Walpie

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Walpie at 90% against Wallpapers's 4%. Walpie also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2). Wallpapers's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wallpapers sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Walpie sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Walpie holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wallpapers has 1.8K ratings behind it against 101, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 4% of Wallpapers's written reviews are positive against 90% of Walpie's.

Wallpapers ships an update fortnightly, Walpie every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
