# Timemator vs SideNotes Mobile

The clearest difference is price: Timemator at Free against SideNotes Mobile's $9.99. Timemator also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (169 vs 29). SideNotes Mobile's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (88% vs 63%). On ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Timemator is free to download; SideNotes Mobile costs $9.99 up front. Timemator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SideNotes Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

Timemator holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timemator has 169 ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Timemator's written reviews are positive against 88% of SideNotes Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Timemator ships an update every 2 months, SideNotes Mobile monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
