# Timemator vs Polaris Focus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Polaris Focus at 100% against Timemator's 63%. Polaris Focus also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Timemator's advantage is ratings volume (172 vs 4) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timemator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Polaris Focus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Polaris Focus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timemator has 172 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Timemator ships an update every 2 months, Polaris Focus every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
