# All Access Games vs Time Machine

The clearest difference is rating: Time Machine at 4.5 against All Access Games's 2.8. Time Machine also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (64% vs 29%). All Access Games's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. All Access Games sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Time Machine sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Time Machine holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Time Machine has 4.5K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 29% of All Access Games's written reviews are positive against 64% of Time Machine's.

All Access Games ships an update fortnightly, Time Machine every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
