# Hydrow vs Sacred Silence

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sacred Silence at none against Hydrow's 1. Hydrow's advantage is ratings volume (3.5K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hydrow sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per month. Sacred Silence asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sacred Silence holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hydrow has 3.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hydrow ships an update every 3 weeks, Sacred Silence every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
