# Direct Chat vs Click to Chat

The clearest difference is ads: Click to Chat at none against Direct Chat's shown. Direct Chat's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Direct Chat sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Click to Chat sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Direct Chat ships an update every 9 days, Click to Chat every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
