# Colorscope vs TryAngles

The clearest difference is update cadence: TryAngles at every 7 months against Colorscope's every 17 months. TryAngles also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Colorscope sells 18 one-off in-app purchases and TryAngles sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Colorscope ships an update every 17 months, TryAngles every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
