# TechMae vs ARknet

The clearest difference is rating: TechMae at 5.0 against ARknet's 4.7. TechMae also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 83%). ARknet's advantage is ratings volume (316 vs 8) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TechMae sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ARknet sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TechMae holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ARknet has 316 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of TechMae's written reviews are positive against 83% of ARknet's.

TechMae ships an update every 8 days, ARknet fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
