# Reminders 3 vs Reminder

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Reminder at 96% against Reminders 3's 61%. Reminder also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3). Reminders 3's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (26 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reminders 3 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Reminder sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reminder holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reminders 3 has 26 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 61% of Reminders 3's written reviews are positive against 96% of Reminder's.

Reminders 3 ships an update fortnightly, Reminder every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
