# NBCA vs InstaSub

The clearest difference is rating: NBCA at 5.0 against InstaSub's 4.4. InstaSub's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (241 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NBCA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: InstaSub has 241 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NBCA ships an update every 9 months, InstaSub every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
