# Noto vs Supernotes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Supernotes at 91% against Noto's 68%. Supernotes also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6). Noto's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 122). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Noto sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Supernotes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Supernotes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noto has 1.3K ratings behind it against 122, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of Noto's written reviews are positive against 91% of Supernotes's.

Noto ships an update every 4 weeks, Supernotes monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
