# Goal Ahead vs Focus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Focus at 100% against Goal Ahead's 33%. Focus also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.2) and update cadence (daily vs every 3 months). Goal Ahead's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Goal Ahead costs $1.99 and Focus $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Focus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Goal Ahead has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of Goal Ahead's written reviews are positive against 100% of Focus's.

Goal Ahead ships an update every 3 months, Focus daily. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
