# Happy Ring vs Block Drop

The clearest difference is rating: Block Drop at 4.9 against Happy Ring's 1.0. Block Drop also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (31 vs 1). Happy Ring's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Happy Ring sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Block Drop sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Block Drop holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Block Drop has 31 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Happy Ring ships an update every 6 weeks, Block Drop every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
