# PrimoTech vs iM

The clearest difference is rating: PrimoTech at 4.2 against iM's 3.0. PrimoTech also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PrimoTech holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PrimoTech has 1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PrimoTech ships an update every 3 weeks, iM monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
