# Horizon Path vs Cat Restaurant!

The clearest difference is rating: Cat Restaurant! at 4.8 against Horizon Path's 4.0. Cat Restaurant! also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (47 vs 3). Horizon Path's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cat Restaurant! sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Horizon Path asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cat Restaurant! holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cat Restaurant! has 47 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Horizon Path's written reviews are positive against 96% of Cat Restaurant!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Horizon Path ships an update every 5 months, Cat Restaurant! every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
