# LucidID vs Collective Elevation

The clearest difference is ratings volume: LucidID at 4.4K against Collective Elevation's 5. LucidID also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). Collective Elevation's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for LucidID against 4.8 for Collective Elevation. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LucidID has 4.4K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LucidID ships an update every 2 months, Collective Elevation every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
