# EQUINET vs ShowSafe

The clearest difference is ads: ShowSafe at none against EQUINET's shown. EQUINET's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EQUINET sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $29.00 per month and ShowSafe sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EQUINET holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 11 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of EQUINET's written reviews are positive against 89% of ShowSafe's.

EQUINET ships an update fortnightly, ShowSafe every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
