# EQUINET vs FarmKeep

The clearest difference is ads: FarmKeep at none against EQUINET's shown. FarmKeep also leads on ratings volume (258 vs 9) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). EQUINET's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 88%) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EQUINET sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $29.00 per month and FarmKeep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FarmKeep holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FarmKeep has 258 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of EQUINET's written reviews are positive against 88% of FarmKeep's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EQUINET ships an update fortnightly, FarmKeep every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
