# Delta Chat vs Reeeby

The clearest difference is monetization model: Delta Chat at free against Reeeby's free with in-app purchases. Delta Chat also leads on ratings volume (127 vs 24) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.2). Reeeby's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Delta Chat against 4.6 for Reeeby. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Delta Chat has 127 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 63% of Delta Chat's written reviews are positive against 69% of Reeeby's.

Delta Chat ships an update every 3 weeks, Reeeby every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
