# iGenius vs Poster & Banner Maker

iGenius and Poster & Banner Maker both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of Poster & Banner Maker's written reviews are positive against 71% of iGenius's. iGenius's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 86) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iGenius sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Poster & Banner Maker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for iGenius against 4.4 for Poster & Banner Maker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iGenius has 2.8K ratings behind it against 86, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 71% of iGenius's written reviews are positive against 90% of Poster & Banner Maker's.
