# ScripturePlus vs LDS Conferences

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ScripturePlus at none against LDS Conferences's 1. ScripturePlus also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (9.5K vs 328). LDS Conferences's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 weeks). On price, rating and review sentiment there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LDS Conferences sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. ScripturePlus asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for ScripturePlus against 4.8 for LDS Conferences. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScripturePlus has 9.5K ratings behind it against 328, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of ScripturePlus's written reviews are positive against 94% of LDS Conferences's.

ScripturePlus ships an update every 4 weeks, LDS Conferences every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
