# Finsplit vs Organizer

The clearest difference is rating: Organizer at 5.0 against Finsplit's 3.1. Organizer also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). Finsplit's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 20 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Finsplit sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Organizer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Organizer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Finsplit has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Finsplit ships an update weekly, Organizer every 20 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
