# BoxHead vs Zombies vs Alienated 2

The clearest difference is rating: Alienated 2 at 5.0 against BoxHead vs Zombies's 2.7. Alienated 2 also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 17 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). BoxHead vs Zombies's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ratings volume (12 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alienated 2 sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. BoxHead vs Zombies asks for nothing beyond the download.

Alienated 2 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BoxHead vs Zombies has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of BoxHead vs Zombies's written reviews are positive against 50% of Alienated 2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BoxHead vs Zombies ships an update every 17 months, Alienated 2 every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
