# Pure Synth® Platinum vs SitzProbe

The clearest difference is rating: SitzProbe at 5.0 against Pure Synth® Platinum's 3.6. SitzProbe also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Pure Synth® Platinum's advantage is ratings volume (54 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pure Synth® Platinum sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and SitzProbe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SitzProbe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pure Synth® Platinum has 54 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pure Synth® Platinum ships an update every 3 months, SitzProbe every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
