# Calculate84 vs GLHS

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GLHS at none against Calculate84's 6. GLHS also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Calculate84's advantage is ratings volume (54K vs 5) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price and rating there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calculate84 sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. GLHS asks for nothing beyond the download.

Calculate84 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calculate84 has 54K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Calculate84 ships an update fortnightly, GLHS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
