# Couplr vs Friends

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Friends at 75% against Couplr's 3%. Friends also leads on rating (5.0 vs 1.4) and ads (none vs shown). Couplr's advantage is ratings volume (32 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Couplr sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Friends sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Friends holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Couplr has 32 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 3% of Couplr's written reviews are positive against 75% of Friends's.

Couplr ships an update every 6 weeks, Friends fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
