# VPN Proxy Master Secure Shield vs Secure VPN

The clearest difference is ads: VPN Proxy Master Secure Shield at none against Secure VPN's shown. Secure VPN's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (82% vs 69%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Proxy Master Secure Shield sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Secure VPN sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Proxy Master Secure Shield holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secure VPN has 409 ratings behind it against 46, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of VPN Proxy Master Secure Shield's written reviews are positive against 82% of Secure VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN Proxy Master Secure Shield ships an update every 2 months, Secure VPN weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
